missingWrote a review on 10 Novfluctuating shower temperaturepoor communication
Unfortunately, I faced several issues during my stay. The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, making it uncomfortable and unsafe. Additionally, my check-in experience was frustrating as I was misinformed about essential amenities like bathrobes and shower shoes, which ended up requiring a deposit. For the price, I expected much higher quality from the room, which felt dated and lacked proper maintenance.

A tea kettle would have been nice.

Breathtaking views and warm staff
Waking up to stunning mountain vistas each morning was magical. The spa facilities were a highlight, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, providing helpful local tips. The included breakfast was basic. however, making sandwiches to take on hikes was a nice touch. Despite its distance from the train station, the peaceful environment was worth the walk.
The food options at the hotel were quite pricey. While the breakfast lacked hot offerings, I would have appreciated more variety. Additionally, it’s wise to bring your own spa accessories as they're not included with the room.

The outdoor balcony featured a little table and chairs, providing a nice spot for relaxation. The shower had a decent amount of space, making it comfortable despite some fluctuations in temperature.
The balcony had no umbrella, leaving it nearly unusable during the full sun. While the breakfast offered moderate options, hot items required an additional charge, and the shower temperature was inconsistent. The kitchen closed unusually early on Friday night, limiting dinner options to only a veggie pasta dish or chicken nuggets.

i almost considered a decent review, but the mattress was absolutely miserable for my back, and the restaurant? please, i expected gourmet and got frozen food instead. to top it off, i was shocked that no one recognized my obvious need for complimentary robes. you woudl think they’d learn that entitlement comes with staying at a luxury hotel.

would like to go back here again
We stayed 2 nights in a Suite. The room had a balcony with stunning mountain views, coffee machine, and a safe. The spa facilities were amazing, with a sauna, steam room, and indoor pool. The restaurant served delicious meals. Staff were super friendly and attentive, especially with our kid.

Had an awesome time with friends! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Clean rooms with a nice balcony view. Definitely recommend checking out the Kandersteg-Allmenalp Cable Car and Kandersteg-Sunnbuel Cable Car for some great activities. The buffet breakfast was solid, and the free spa was a nice treat after a day out.
However, I did notice that the fruit and bread at breakfast could attract flies, which was a bit off-putting. I'd suggest the hotel improve on that to keep everything fresh.
